Hatching Tips for 1000 Egg Incubator
Incubation
All eggs used for incubation must be fresh to ensure the best hatching results. Generally, fertilized eggs that are 4–7 days old after laying are considered optimal. Eggs stored for a short period should be kept at a controlled temperature of 10–15°C to maintain viability. Proper storage and selection of eggs before incubation are crucial for achieving a high hatching rate.
Broken Shell Out
During the last three days of the incubation cycle, remove the egg tray and lay the eggs flat in the hatching basket. Adjust the temperature to 37.6°C and maintain humidity above 75%. Spray warm water on the eggshells 3–4 times a day, and wait for the chicks to peck their way out.
Feed
Once the chicks hatch, keep them inside the incubator until their feathers are dry. This prevents chilling and ensures their survival. After drying, transfer the chicks into a cardboard box with a 100W heat source to maintain a warm, stable environment. During the first 7–10 days, provide proper warmth and nutrition, gradually reducing heat as the chicks grow stronger.
