Components and Layout Design of Layer Cages
The ABC Machinery layer cage is popularly used in poultry farms. Layer cage structure, a mesh system, and an automatic drinking system are necessary. The feeding system, egg collection system, and manure removal system can be chosen manually or automatically. Our layer cage is designed with 3 or 4 tiers, which is convenient for workers to manage chickens.
ABC Machinery A-type layer cage is made of hot-dip galvanized steel with a smooth, weld-free surface and compact mesh design to save space and reduce shipping costs. The 8° sloped bottom helps eggs roll out gently to prevent breakage. With less tier overlap, it improves ventilation and suits both open and closed poultry houses. Each row runs independently for easy manure removal and efficient management.

ABC Machinery H-type layer cage frame is made of 275g/m² galvanized steel with 2.0mm thick cage legs. The frames are spaced 1 meter apart, with separator nets dividing the cages into two compartments. Each cage holds 6-7 hens, offering about 447 square centimeters of space per hen. This design allows for efficient egg collection, with up to 20,000 eggs per hour, and is easy to install and debug.

Automatic Feeding System

Automatic Eggs Collection System

■ The white polypropylene weave combined with high-strength polyester weft creates a more adaptable egg belt, with a maximum load capacity of 1,587 kg.

■ Equipped with a soft egg separation and diversion guide.
■ Reduces egg contamination and collisions, ensuring that soft-shell eggs and dirt are removed before reaching the egg storage house.

■ The egg collection machine is made of 275 g/m² hot-dipped galvanized steel sheet, with a thickness of δ ≈ 2 mm. The sprocket is made of No. 45 steel and is quenched.
■ Driving motor: 0.55 kW–70S for the egg collection machine, 0.75 kW–80S for the egg belt.

■ The egg conveyor can simultaneously collect and transfer eggs between different poultry houses. It is suitable for all types of layer battery cages and supports curved and sloped transportation to adapt to various landforms.
